Getting involved
If you live in the UK, and want to know more about getting involved with Amnesty International, here’s how to find out. If you live outside the UK but want to know more about Amnesty International, please contact your local AI Section. If you would like to donate to Amnesty, then you can do so through their web site or find further information on how you can support them at their How To Give pages.
Please visit Amnesty’s Take Action page for information on actions that you can take to contribute on individual human rights cases and issues.
If you would like to know more about getting involved with the Wearside Group, then please contact us for further information.
As well as the active group, there is a Friends of Wearside Amnesty mailing list. Each year, members of the mailing list receive a couple of letters detailing the work of the group over the past few months, planned actions over the next few months, and any publications or leaflets that may be of interest - for example pre-printed postcards that can be sent off in support of campaigns. If you would like to become a member of the mailing list, then please get in touch.
If you’re based in a different part of the UK, but would like to find a local group, you can look on Amnesty’s Local Groups page.
Replying is good.
